Problem: 

Some stove designs leave the plastic push-button controls exposed to heat damage from high temperature cooking when using the Flat Top.

Solution: 

We offer an optional accessory Heat Shield to protect the plastic controls from heat damage. 

How do I Know if my Stove Needs a Heat Shield?

Please refer to the illustrations below when deciding if your stove requires a Heat Shield. While not all stoves are affected we do recommend Heat Shields for stoves with push-button controls for maximum protection. If you're unsure if a Heat Shield is a necessary accessory for your stove please send a photo of your stove to our support team via email at [email protected] for a recommendation from our knowledgeable staff.
