Thanks for reaching out! The indoor flat top can be used on a grill as long as it fits. Both the indoor and outdoor flat tops are made from the same material. However, we generally recommend using the indoor flat tops outside because the drain holes on the outdoor version won’t  align properly with indoor stoves. Be sure to check the dimensions of the indoor flat top your looking to purchase  to ensure it fits your grill.
